I loved visiting with Bob, We did have such a nice time. And 6mths, or a year later, whenever I'd visit again, we'd pick right up where we left off! He'd say  "Is that insane horse still at the barn? My god!" or some such. It was so fun. We'd get the same breakfast items at the Royal (Bob—the buckwheat pancakes, me—the scone w/lemon curd) and he'd update the situation by telling me things like "Perry thinks I am a little unsteady, and worries that I might fall" So I would know to be very careful and walk very close. I will miss those visits. More than I can say. — Stephanie Everts-Ben-Amotz

Dear Sandra, Jenny, Robert, and Perry,
A fantastic fellow has joined the heavenly souls; we are so sad to hear of your dad's passing.
We will be honored to celebrate his life and legends with all of you, more family, and his family of
friends. We send our prayers of condolences to you all; no words can hold the sorrow.  His peace is what we embrace to tolerate his departure from us. Such joy in all the memories
of "THE TOP OF THE WORLD" - I for one will never forget his wonderful personality and humor.

Hold on to those memories of your father.
As my father said, "The memories of you that others hold dear -- that is the eternal life."
I will hold you in the light.

We were sincerely moved when we read Richard's message with the sad news that we would have liked never to receive...
We have such fond memories of your Dad sitting on a bench in front of the parroquia, and of the bond that united the two of you which was an evidence every time we saw both of you together.
We will never forget his beautiful, tender smile as a testimony of his happiness to live every moment to the fullest.
He will continue to live through the love he gave you and the love you gave him...Love never passes away...
Please share our loving thoughts with Richard and your family.
Love,
Anne and Bruno

I was so sad to hear “Dad” had passed. I remember him as at once kind, playful, humorous, stern, friendly, intelligent and a man who loved his family immensely.
He was always so nice to me and I will cherish his memory.
